Jesus Christ Superstar (Theatre Royal Drury Lane)

Due to overwhelming demand following its award-winning run at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Jesus Christ Superstar is transferring to Theatre Royal Drury Lane after a hugely successful summer season at The London Palladium. Music star Sam Ryder takes on the role of Jesus in his highly anticipated West End debut.

Created by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jesus Christ Superstar reimagines the final days of Jesus Christ through the perspective of Judas. Infused with the electrifying rock sound that made it a cultural landmark, the score features celebrated songs including I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Gethsemane, and the unforgettable Superstar.

This acclaimed new production is directed by Tim Sheader, with choreography from Olivier Award winner Drew McOnie and set design by Tony and Olivier Award winner Tom Scutt.
