Dating all the way back to the 1600s, The splendid Theatre Royal Drury Lane is one of London’s oldest venues. It is also one of the largest in the West End, seating an impressive crowd of around 2240 people over four levels, coming in just behind the London Coliseum and London Palladium. Located in Covent Garden, the theatre is right in the heart of London’s theatreland and a tourist attraction in its own right, with tours high on the list of cool things to do in the capital.

I loved the show! My daughters and husband came out of the theatre saying how awesome it was. We highly recommend it to absolutely everyone

Pass if you’re a big fan of the original
Whilst I thought the costumes and staging was a creative version, the story was rewritten to be much less heartfelt than the movie for no real reason. Characters made weird unnecessary choices and the version of Hades was just a poor characterization. Even Hercules seemed excessively childish and dense but at the same time makes suggestive jokes to Meg which doesn’t track. The real stars were the gospel muses, they carried the show with their amazing voices and acting. Probably fun enough for kids but overall lacking emotional undertones that made the original so good.
