About The Theatre Royal Drury Lane
Dating all the way back to the 1600s, The splendid Theatre Royal Drury Lane is one of London’s oldest venues. It is also one of the largest in the West End, seating an impressive crowd of around 2240 people over four levels, coming in just behind the London Coliseum and London Palladium. Located in Covent Garden, the theatre is right in the heart of London’s theatreland and a tourist attraction in its own right, with tours high on the list of cool things to do in the capital.

Crazy high production value Sooo many different costumes, sets and overall a good performance by everyone, especially the muses! I will say I honestly found the audio a touch loud and kind of hard to hear what they were saying at times in the songs when lots of people were singing, which is a shame in this show where a lot of exposition is through song. But I enjoyed nonetheless!

Very good, but unnecessary changes to original Disney story Music and lighting, very good, plot had some changes from the original film which seemed unnecessary, also some costume decisions seemed anachronistic; for example, Hades is in medieval garb, Phil is not visibly a Satyr and Hercules does not have his heroic blond hair. A blond wig would have sufficed.
