About The Theatre Royal Drury Lane
Dating all the way back to the 1600s, The splendid Theatre Royal Drury Lane is one of London’s oldest venues. It is also one of the largest in the West End, seating an impressive crowd of around 2240 people over four levels, coming in just behind the London Coliseum and London Palladium. Located in Covent Garden, the theatre is right in the heart of London’s theatreland and a tourist attraction in its own right, with tours high on the list of cool things to do in the capital.

Good but a bit pantomime like The show was well put together and the effects, acting and everything was good, but there was a little bit of a pantomime feel to it. There were a lot of kids that were too young in the theatre whilst we were there too, and they kept crying and making noise throughout. This spoilt our enjoyment somewhat.

Perhaps I overhyped the show beforehand. Lots of good moments from start to finish but ultimately it was a bit flat, very few laughed, the songs seemed generally a bit under tempo, some excellent vocals in the show but I expected for more of these moments - especially from the leads.
