Dating all the way back to the 1600s, The splendid Theatre Royal Drury Lane is one of London’s oldest venues. It is also one of the largest in the West End, seating an impressive crowd of around 2240 people over four levels, coming in just behind the London Coliseum and London Palladium. Located in Covent Garden, the theatre is right in the heart of London’s theatreland and a tourist attraction in its own right, with tours high on the list of cool things to do in the capital.

Underwhelming
While the music was at some point touching and engaging, the overall idea is disappointingly full of clichés. I expected a more risk-taking approach. There was nothing new or special about it, apart from Sting, which is probably why we were all there. The seats were ridiculously expensive.

A very emotional story, well acted. But it was the fabulous voices. Peg, Gideon absolutely stole the scenes. And of course Sting/Jackie. Terrific.
