About The Theatre Royal Drury Lane
Dating all the way back to the 1600s, The splendid Theatre Royal Drury Lane is one of London’s oldest venues. It is also one of the largest in the West End, seating an impressive crowd of around 2240 people over four levels, coming in just behind the London Coliseum and London Palladium. Located in Covent Garden, the theatre is right in the heart of London’s theatreland and a tourist attraction in its own right, with tours high on the list of cool things to do in the capital.

Mum & daughter theatre trip = officially a success! Hercules – what a way to finish our London adventure!
We absolutely loved Hercules. It was funny, full of energy and had a really lovely moral to the story — that being a hero isn’t about being the strongest or most powerful, but about being true to yourself and making the right choices.
The songs were SO catchy and brilliantly performed… although I suspect I’ll be hearing them in my head for the next few weeks!
The costumes were fabulous and the whole production was just spectacular.
But our favourite moment had to be right at the beginning when the gods appeared and we spotted Hermes… OUR namesake! Obviously, this made the show approximately 100 times more exciting for us!
Another brilliant memory added to our London adventure — although after four days of walking, sightseeing, shopping, shows and general chaos, I think Mum is ready for a sit down now!
Would definitely recommend Hercules — funny, uplifting and a whole lot of fun!

Fantastic adaptations This show is the one i was most looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint. The muses wow they sang their hearts out and we’re absolutely amazing. The rest of the cast equally so, orchestra brilliant, costumes brilliant, and the stage scenery wow.
