About The Theatre Royal Drury Lane
Dating all the way back to the 1600s, The splendid Theatre Royal Drury Lane is one of London’s oldest venues. It is also one of the largest in the West End, seating an impressive crowd of around 2240 people over four levels, coming in just behind the London Coliseum and London Palladium. Located in Covent Garden, the theatre is right in the heart of London’s theatreland and a tourist attraction in its own right, with tours high on the list of cool things to do in the capital.

Stings Brilliance at story telling through lyrics shone A good story and a cautionary one. Not everyone needs to follow in their Fathers footsteps after all Sting did not. His story telling through his lyrics always takes you on a journey and this didn’t disappoint. The lead male singer had a lovely voice not dissimilar to Stings. The lead female was also vocally talented and acted well. I didn’t think her cowboy boots and satin tops were appropriate to the era or ‘dockside’ attire. The daughter delivered a belter!
Sting never disappoints his voice is as good today as it was in his youth throughout the Police years and solo career and I’ve seen him a number of times.He did a great job!
Overall a great story and performance really enjoyable at a beautiful venue, felt very intimate and instdentally the staff where super friendly and professional.

A Slightly dull story with some great singers in there The plot was a worthy one, albeit dull. Some great singers in the cast. The storyline was a serious one with few moments of light relief.
